She has been involved in Corporate and Commercial Transaction Advisory, Corporate Governance, and Company Secretarial Practice. Sheilla also has experience in litigation, and has assisted in recovery processes for financial institutions.

Sheilla also has experience in litigation, and has assisted in recovery processes for financial institutions.
Among her growing wealth of experience, Sheilla can be counted advising a financial institution in the structuring and issue of its privately placed note programme, and involvement in drafting of lending and security documentation for corporate and individual lending transactions. Her legal versatility has seen her advice and act for a client in the sale of a football club in the Kenya Premier League, act on behalf of a property developer in drafting of leases, obtaining the relevant consents and pursuing the registration formalities of the sub-leases, in addition to being involved in drafting of various commercial contracts such as share purchase agreements, sale agreements, employment contracts, and non-disclosure agreements. Sheilla’s proudest moment was her contribution to the Firm’s Chambers Global Practice Guide Publication 2022, and her ambition is to be market leader in multinational commercial and corporate transactions.
Sheilla is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and holds a Bachelor of Laws from Kenyatta University as well as a Post-graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She is also a Certified Secretary (CS) and a Certified Public Accountant (finalist).
